Hey there! I’m Desirea Horvath and I’ve been in the insurance and mortgage world for a little over two years—just long enough to know that this industry is all about people, patience, and occasionally feeling like a superhero.
Before this, I wore a lot of hats and had even more dreams—writing, photography, styling—you name it. But helping clients understand their coverage, feel heard, and walk away with a sense of relief, is what I truly love. I believe in breaking things down, so it makes sense, making space for people’s concerns, and showing every client that they’re valued.
One of my favorite parts of the job is turning tough conversations around—for instance when someone starts off frustrated or upset and ends up thanking me by the end of the call. That’s when I know I’m doing something right. I also get a huge sense of satisfaction when I’ve worked hard to save a policy and made someone’s day a little easier in the process. If there is one thing I have learned while working in the insurance industry, it would be that there is always a solution. Let’s work together to find a solution.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me cruising with the music up, a cold milkshake in hand, maybe checking out a car show or hanging with my boyfriend and our adorable pup.
Random fun fact: I drive a manual car (yes, those still exist!). I run on Pipeline Punch Monster drinks, I re-watch Supernatural way too often. We all have “that show” we love, right?
